Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Unlimited forms and 100 responses a calendar month, with no card and no expiry. Respondents cannot upload files on it, but you can put images in your own forms (up to 50 MB).

What happens when I hit the 100 responses?

Your forms stop accepting new submissions until the next calendar month or an upgrade. You are emailed at 80% of the allowance and again when it runs out, and there is a usage meter on your account page. It never happens silently. Respondents see a plain “not accepting responses” message that says nothing about plans.

Can I try a paid plan?

Yes, one 14-day trial per account, no card needed. If you do not add a payment method it reverts to Free automatically.

Do prices include VAT?

No. Prices are net; VAT is added at checkout based on where you are. An EU business can enter a VAT number for the reverse charge, which applies once Stripe has verified the number.

Can I pay in dollars or pounds?

Yes. Euro is the base currency, and USD and GBP are offered too, choose on the plans page before you subscribe. Stripe fixes your currency with the first invoice, so the choice cannot be changed afterwards. See Billing & plans.

How does branching work?

Per answer choice. Split the form into sections and set where each choice sends the respondent. There is no rule builder for showing and hiding individual questions inside a section. See Conditional logic.

Can I score a quiz automatically?

Yes. Give questions point values, mark the correct answers, and each submission is scored on arrival. Each question can show different feedback for right and wrong answers, including links and video. There is no whole-exam timer, question pool, or certificate generation. See Scored exams.

Which integrations work today?

Google Drive, Zapier and Make. Because the Zapier and Make cards are just a URL you paste, either one also delivers to an endpoint of your own. HubSpot and Salesforce are coming soon. Everything else on the integrations page is roadmap. See Integrations.

Is there an API?

Not yet. Use webhooks to get every response POSTed to your endpoint in real time. That covers most of what an API would be used for. API keys and a public REST API are on the roadmap.

Can I put a form on my own domain?

You can export a form as a self-contained HTML file and host it yourself, with responses still collected in your account. It only covers forms built from the plain question types and it drops branching and scoring, so it suits a simple form. There is no custom-domain feature that serves Questionful-hosted forms from your domain.

Can I change the look of a form?

You can set a background image and place your own images inside the form. There is no full theming system, no white-label mode, and no custom CSS yet.

Who owns the data?

You do: the forms, the responses, and anything you import, on every plan. You are also the data controller for the responses your forms collect; see GDPR & data processing.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, two ways: a CSV export per form’s responses, and a one-click JSON export from the account page covering your forms, their definitions, their responses and their tags. Neither needs a request or a waiting period.

How do I delete my account?

See the data deletion page. Deleting an account deletes its forms, responses, and uploaded files. Invoices are kept for the period tax law requires.

Something is broken. Where do I report it?

support@questionful.org. Questionful is in alpha, bug reports genuinely change what gets fixed next.
