The draft is the point, not the magic. Most of the work in building a form is deciding what to ask and picking the right input for each answer; having that arrive as a starting point turns an hour into ten minutes. Nothing is locked afterwards. The generated form is an ordinary form.

How it works

Setting it up.

01

Describe the form

One or two sentences about what the form is for and who fills it in. More context produces a better draft, but a single line is enough to start.

02

Read the draft

You get questions with types already chosen (scales where a scale fits, choices where choices fit) arranged in the editor rather than in a chat window.

03

Edit like any form

Reorder, rewrite, delete, add sections, set branching, attach points. The generated form has no special status and no separate mode.

04

Ship it

Publish the link, embed it, email it to a contact list, or export it as standalone HTML, the same options as a hand-built form.

What you get

Included, on every plan unless noted.

  • Generates a full question set from a plain-language description
  • Picks a question type per question from the 19 available
  • Output is a normal, fully editable form: no lock-in, no regeneration required
  • Works alongside the template library and a blank canvas
  • Available on Standard and Teams
What it does not do

We would rather you find this out here than after signing up.

  • AI generation is a paid-plan feature; the free plan builds forms manually or from a template
  • It drafts questions. It does not set up branching, points, or integrations for you
  • It does not write your brand voice; expect to edit the wording
  • There is no AI analysis of responses
FAQ

AI Form Builder: common questions.

Is the AI form builder free?

No. It is included on the Standard and Teams plans. The free plan gives you unlimited forms, 100 responses a month, the full editor, and the template library.

Can I edit an AI-generated form?

Yes, completely. The output is an ordinary Questionful form: reorder, rewrite, delete, add branching and points, and publish it like any other.

Does the AI choose question types?

Yes. It picks from the 19 available types (scales, choices, grids, dates and so on) based on what each question is asking for. You can change any of them.

Does AI analyse the responses too?

No. Response summaries and charts are statistical, not generated. There is no AI analysis or summarisation of answers.

Try it on the free plan.
