Best for: Free internal forms that only have to fill a spreadsheet

No cost, no response cap, and already in the account of anyone with a Google login. Section jumps instead of per-answer branching, and nothing leaves the sheet on its own.

What is the best Tally alternative?

It depends on which limit you hit. Questionful for scoring, per-answer branching and unusual question types, Typeform for presentation, Fillout for integrations and an API, Jotform for payments and breadth, and Google Forms for free internal forms feeding a spreadsheet.

Is there a Tally alternative with quiz scoring?

Questionful scores a quiz automatically on submit: points per question, closed-set answers graded outright, written answers held for a human review you can gate the mark behind, and different feedback per answer. There are no pass marks, timers or question pools yet.

Can I move my Tally forms across?

Not by import. Questionful has no form importer, and importers are rare across the category. Most people rebuild a short form in minutes, or describe it to the AI generator on a paid plan and edit the draft.

When should I stay on Tally?
