Questionful vs SurveyMonkey
Survey depth without the enterprise price tag.
SurveyMonkey is the incumbent in survey research, with the analysis tooling and the panel business to match. It is also priced for that, with response allowances and the useful logic and integrations concentrated in the upper tiers. Questionful covers the survey work most teams actually run (satisfaction, feedback, research, assessment) with unlimited responses on every paid plan from €19 a month.
Why teams pick Questionful over SurveyMonkey.
- Unlimited responses on every paid plan instead of a per-tier response allowance.
- Branching per answer choice on every plan, including the free one.
- Specialist question types: budget allocators, priority matrices, image hotspots, sketch pads, audio answers.
- Signed webhooks, Zapier and Make on the form itself, not gated behind an enterprise tier.
- Quizzes with points, automatic scoring, and feedback per answer.

Questionful vs SurveyMonkey: common questions.
Is Questionful a cheaper SurveyMonkey alternative?
Yes for most survey work: €19 a month for unlimited responses, plus a free plan with 100 responses a month. SurveyMonkey concentrates logic, integrations, and reporting in its higher tiers.
Does the subscription auto-renew, and how do I cancel?
A subscription renews until you stop it, and you stop it yourself: the billing portal is linked from your account settings, and cancelling takes a couple of clicks, no email, no retention call. Monthly and yearly carry the same features, so paying monthly and leaving after a month is a supported way to use it.
Do I have to commit to a year?
No. €19 a month buys the same Standard plan as €190 a year. The annual price is a discount, not a gate on features. There is also a 14-day trial of a paid plan that needs no card at all: if you never add one, it simply ends and the account returns to free.
Does Questionful do NPS and CSAT surveys?
Yes. Both are linear-scale questions, and a short choice question next to the scale lets you branch the follow-up by band. Closed-set results can also be published as an aggregate summary.
How deep is the reporting?
Response summaries with charts for closed-set questions, plus CSV and PDF export. There is no cross-tabulation, weighting, or statistical significance testing. That is where SurveyMonkey is genuinely ahead.
Can I buy survey respondents?
No. Questionful has no respondent panel; you bring your own audience, by link, embed, or an emailed contact list.
Ready to do more with your forms?
If you are running satisfaction, feedback, or research surveys and paying enterprise prices for tooling you do not use, Questionful is a much cheaper fit. If you need panels or advanced statistical reporting, SurveyMonkey is still the right tool.
