Account management
Your profile, password, two-factor authentication, and usage meters.
Signing up
Register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. A password sign-up has to confirm the email address before the dashboard opens. Google sign-in does not, since Google has already verified it.
Changing your email address
Changing your email requires your current password. The new address is recorded as pending and only replaces the old one once you open the link sent to it, so a typo cannot move the account to a mailbox you cannot read. The old address is notified whenever a change is requested, and a pending change can be resent or cancelled from the account page.
Changing your password
Also requires your current password. If you have forgotten it, use the reset link on the sign-in page. It is rate limited and does not reveal whether an address has an account.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication can be switched on from the account page. Once on, signing in emails you a six-digit code that you enter after your password. The code is valid for ten minutes, can be resent from the sign-in screen, and is locked out after five wrong attempts.
It is an emailed code, not an authenticator app: there is no QR code to scan and no recovery codes to store. Keep access to the mailbox on the account. Losing it means losing the second factor.
Usage meters
The account page shows two meters:
- Responses this month against your plan’s allowance: Free only, since paid plans are unlimited.
- File storage used against your plan’s allowance.
Both turn amber at 80% and red once full, and you are emailed at each of those points.
Exporting your data
The account page has a one-click export that downloads a JSON file containing your forms with their definitions, their responses, their tags, and a listing of the files attached to them. It is the portability copy to take before deleting an account, and it needs no request or waiting period.
Deleting your account
You can request deletion at any time. See the data deletion page. Deleting an account deletes its forms, their responses, and their uploaded files. Forms created inside somebody else’s team stay with that workspace.
Invoices are kept for the period German tax law requires; everything else goes.
