The problem

Assessment tooling that costs more than the assessment

Running a knowledge check usually means either a full learning management system or a spreadsheet and an evening of manual marking. For a twenty-question check on whether people understood the training, both are the wrong size of tool.

How Questionful helps

What you can do with it.

01

Scoring that runs itself

Give each question a point value and mark the correct answers. The score is calculated on submission, no marking, no spreadsheet.

02

Teach at the point of the mistake

Each question can carry separate feedback for a right and a wrong answer, and that feedback can include an explanation, links to source material, and an embedded video.

03

Control the pace

Timed questions keep a section moving, sections let you group a paper into parts, and a form can be closed with your own message once the window is over.

FAQ

Online Exams & Assessments: common questions.

How does automatic scoring work?

Give each question a point value and the submission is scored the moment it arrives. Closed-set questions are graded outright; written answers still need a human, and you can hold the mark until that review is done.

Can I show the answer explanation to the candidate?

Yes, per question and per outcome. Right and wrong answers can carry different feedback, and that feedback can include a link or a video rather than just a line of text.

Can I set a pass mark, a timer, or a question pool?

Not yet. There are no pass/fail thresholds, exam timers, question pools, or certificates. You get points, automatic scoring, control over what the candidate sees, and shuffled question order.

Can I stop candidates copying from each other?

Shuffle the question order per respondent and use slideshow mode so only one question is on screen at a time. There is no lockdown browser or proctoring.

Do candidates need an account?

No. Share the public link and anyone can sit the assessment; only the person building it needs a Questionful account.
