Course Evaluation Form
A course evaluation form asks students what worked and what did not, at the point where they have seen the whole thing. It is the one survey where consistency matters more than creativity: the same statements, the same scale, every cohort.

Keep it anonymous by design
No name question, no sign-in. Students answer honestly when they are confident the form cannot identify them, and Questionful does not require respondents to have an account.

Duplicate rather than edit
Copy the form for each cohort instead of editing a live one, so historical responses stay attached to the wording they were answered under.

Export to CSV for your own analysis, or turn on the public response summary so students see what the cohort said.
Tips
What makes the difference.
- Run it in class, not by email. Response rates roughly double.
- Avoid double-barrelled statements, "clear and well-paced" cannot be answered.
- Add one open question about what to change, and read all of them.
- Never break anonymous results down by a group small enough to identify a student.
- Report back what changed because of last year's evaluation; it is why people fill in this one.

Are course evaluations anonymous?
They are if you do not ask for identifying information. Respondents never sign in, so with no name or email question there is nothing tying a response to a student.
Can I compare results across cohorts?
Yes. Keep the questions identical, duplicate the form per cohort, and compare the exports. Questionful does not merge forms for you, so the CSVs are where the comparison happens.
Can students see the results?
Yes, if you enable the public response summary. Only closed-set questions are aggregated; open comments are never published.
Can I run it in several languages?
Not within one form. There is no multilingual mode yet. The usual approach is one form per language, with the same questions.
